Lancaster has a very long history of welcoming refugees and immigrants, and is recognized as “America’s refugee capital” for resettling 20 times more refugees per capita than the rest of the nation.
We know that finding resources such as English as a Second Language (ESL) classes can be challenging. These classes are run by a variety of churches and organizations, with no central way for students to find information about current classes. So PRC created this website to help ESL students (and those helping them) easily find and compare class locations, times, and providers.
Thanks to Eastern Mennonite Missions’ volunteers for their help in compiling this data. If you are an ESL provider and would like to add or update your information, please contact PRC (717-299-1113, info@connectprc.org).
